1. Nature of the Service
Parma Residents Directory is a privately run reference. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and historical directory collections relevant to Parma, Ohio. It does not host government records and has no connection to an office, court, or records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or information reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make any FCRA-regulated decision, including credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. No Consumer-Reporting Service
This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Nothing here or returned by a linked tool is a consumer report. It may not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. Links to Outside Sites
Government portals and outside services, including sponsored-result tools, have their own rules and policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, prices, or data practices.
5. No Warranties
The service is offered "as is" and "as available," without warranties. We do not promise that its contents are accurate, complete, or current, or that a linked portal will operate or return a correct result.
6. Limits on Our Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this service or a linked resource, including decisions based on a record found through it.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from misuse of the service or a violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a short attributed excerpt is allowed; republishing complete pages or systematically copying material is not.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after a revision means acceptance.
10. Cutting Off Access
We may restrict or block access, without notice and at our discretion, for a violation of these terms or abuse of the service.
11. Governing Law
Ohio law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For public-record access questions, Ohio Public Records Act, ORC 149.43, governs records kept by public offices subject to its exceptions; it does not alter these private terms.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
